Faculty & Staff
Dee Erway-Sherwood M.F.A.
- Professor of Graphic Design
- Department Chair & Executive Director of Art & Design
- “In my teaching, it is my goal to develop students’ interest in design and broaden their artistic skills. I am preparing them for the workforce – therefore, every project and skill that we focus on is centered around preparing them for what they will need to acquire industry-leading careers."
Kelsy Gossett Dennis M.F.A.
- Assistant Professor of Photography, Art, and Design
- "The study of art can connect us in ways other mediums cannot. You don’t need to have the same background, or even speak the same language, to communicate through art. It allows us to empathize with another person’s experience and can bring people together. Helping students experience art and broaden their understanding about what art can be and what it can do brings me joy. I see my job as a professor to guide students in their journey to find their voice and identity as individuals and as artists."
Michaela Groeblacher M.F.A.
- Associate Professor of Art
- “Born and raised in Austria/Europe, my teaching philosophy is grounded in my classical training in art, art history, and in the theory that all living creatures are interconnected. I am an artist who teaches – mainly ceramics and painting. I strive to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating atmosphere in my studios that allows students to find their uniqueness and the courage to express themselves visually.”
Killian Alvin Millner B.A.
- Visiting Assistant Professor of Digital Media
