McPherson College seeks an enthusiastic student-centered professor to join the Business Department for the 2025-26 academic year as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Business. This is a full-time, renewable, benefits eligible position.

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for providing 24 credit hours of instruction in Business, Accounting, and Healthcare Finance per academic year. The person in this appointment will teach major and general education courses, offer one or two online classes per year, maintain regular office hours, attend meetings, advise Business majors, assist with recruiting, participate in the governance of the college, and perform other duties within the scope of this position as assigned.

A minimum of a Ph.D. degree in Business is preferred (ABD candidates as well as candidates with an MBA will also be considered for this appointment). The ideal candidate will have professional, academic, or scholarly experience in one or more of the following areas: accounting, healthcare finance, and/or business law. Preference will be given to candidates with evidence of high-quality teaching experience at the collegiate level. Candidates must possess the ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods and modalities (in-person and online), relate to diverse students, and facilitate student learning.
