McPherson College is seeking an energetic, detail oriented, multi-tasker to join its Student Affairs team. The Student Affairs Operations Coordinator is an integral member of the Student Affairs team that provides administrative, operational, clerical, and project support for Student Affairs.

The Student Affairs Operations Coordinator is a full-time, 12-month, hourly position and is eligible for the college’s full benefits package.  This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students.

The ideal candidate is capable of engaging diverse student populations in a fast-paced environment and working across the campus community to foster and support the student population. The Student Affairs Operations Coordinator is responsible for cultivating a welcoming and productive environment, ensures compliance and efficiency within all Student Affairs processes and procedures, and promotes excellent student satisfaction.

The ideal candidate would possess at least one year of experience working in an office or administrative position. Experience in a student life or student affairs office is a plus and have earned a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential and a proficiency in using Microsoft Office products is expected. Advanced-level ability with Excel is desirable as well as institutional technology such as Formstack, Guardian, Pharos 360, etc.
