McPherson College seeks a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt Coordinator of Admissions Records and Communication in the Admissions Department. This position reports to the Director of Admissions Operations and is eligible for the college’s full benefits package.

Essential functions include but are not limited to: processing student applications and inquires on a daily basis, maintaining the  communication series for prospective students, processing students through the admissions funnel, developing and maintaining databases; processing mail daily, providing primary backup to front reception desk, facilitating weekly reports, assisting with visit day duties, managing communication with international applicants and any other duty as assigned by the  Director of Admissions Operations.

Qualifications:

  • A high school degree or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organized self-starter.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and a willingness to learn college databases including Jenzabar CX and Slate
  • Honesty, integrity, and confidentiality are imperative.
  • Experience in higher education is preferred.
