McPherson College welcomes applications for the position of Coordinator of Academic Records and I-20 Services (International Student Documentation). This is a full-time position, which reports to the college’s registrar. This position is on a 12-month calendar and is eligible for college benefits.
This position provides support to our students, faculty and staff and provides outstanding customer service to include helps students navigate processes; works with faculty regarding rosters and grades; provides first point of contact for visitors; operations to include administering and providing services related to student academic records and registration, records retention management; updates, interprets student information in databases. Additionally technology to include data entry with student information system; serves as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) with the SEVIS portal to manage international student registration and government-mandated documentation that schools must complete and keep on record; help troubleshoot learning management system with faculty and students; work directly with third party vendors for textbook adoptions. Assist other areas as needed.
Experience: Positive personality; strong computer literacy and data entry skills including proficiency with Microsoft products are required. Skills in database management and experience with student management systems preferred. Must be detail-oriented.
Education: An associate’s degree and at least two years of office experience are required.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills are necessary.
To serve as the college’s Principal Designated School Official the successful applicant must be either a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
