McPherson College welcomes applications for an assistant coach for women’s soccer.

This is a part-time, 12 month, exempt position. This position also comes with college benefits, housing and reports to the Head Women’s Soccer Coach.

Responsible for specific student/athlete instruction on athletic performance, physical health, and sport team concepts specific to women’s soccer. Responsible for providing the instruction and teaching necessary for the student athletes to be successful in their athletic and academic endeavors. Collaborates with the campus community to ensure a positive student-athlete experience. Other duties will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including, but not limited to, the recruitment of quality student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, administrative duties, scouting and monitoring of student-athlete academic progress.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Previous participation and/or coaching experience at the college level is preferred.
