Theatre: “The Christians”

The McPherson College theatre department opens its 2019-20 season with a production of “The Christians.” The play takes a serious look at modern faith through the lens of the senior pastor of a megachurch. This production is the senior project by McPherson College actor, J. Tanner Trigg, and will be performed August 30-31 in Brown Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

“This is a great play for us to begin our season and a great vehicle for Tanner for display his acting ability,” Jd. Bowman, professor of theatre, said. “The play is an open, modern discussion about faith and belief at the hands of flawed humans.”

Tickets are $5 in advance or at the door. Season tickets are also available for First Nighters and continue to feature a themed meal prior to each performance throughout the theatre season.
